The company and union met again on April 16th and 17th at the bargaining table. While the company remains focused on progress, meaningful movement continues to be slow. You may see reports that UFCW Local 7 has filed a counter lawsuit against King Soopers/City Market. Lawsuits can sound alarming, so here’s what you need to know:

What Happened Across the Table Today
The company and union engaged in discussions on safety and were able to reach a tentative agreement on the union’s emergency notification procedures proposal and some withdrawals. While any progress is good, there is still a lot of work to do to reach an agreement.
