King Soopers Secures Agreement to Restore Stability and Resume Negotiations

We are pleased to share that after continued efforts by King Soopers to bring stability to this process, UFCW Local 7 has signed a Peaceful Relations Agreement. This agreement, which we strongly advocated for, ensures a more stable path forward and allows negotiations to resume in good faith.

What This Means for You

• Certainty and Stability: This Agreement restores stability for associates and ensures that negotiations can continue without further disruption. And associates can return to work with the reassurance of stable pay and benefits while negotiations continue.
• A Renewed Focus on Solutions: With the Agreement in place, we are shifting our focus back to the bargaining table to secure a fair contract for our associates.
• Commitment to Progress: This step reflects our commitment to working together with the Union to reach a resolution that benefits you and your family.
• Continued Healthcare Coverage: This Agreement ensures striking associates will not have their healthcare benefits disrupted as a result of the strike and provides all associates the opportunity to work the hours needed to ensure their healthcare coverage is not disrupted

Looking Ahead: Working Toward a Fair Agreement
We appreciate UFCW Local 7’s willingness to return to negotiations, and we are ready to collaborate toward a fair and balanced resolution for our associates. The Company is open to re-working how our $180 million investment will be allocated in order to reach a fair and balanced agreement.
